The Moon Bar is a celestial-themed social lounge created for Portals’ inaugural design contest, built entirely using the early platform’s limited toolkit and assets. Rather than seeing constraints as barriers, I approached them as narrative prompts—designing a space that reimagines how virtual environments can foster emotional resonance and connection.
This immersive micro-world blends intuitive spatial design with atmospheric storytelling to spark curiosity, play, and dialogue. Through strategic use of light, texture, and layering, I invited users into a narrative-driven experience that extended beyond functionality into feeling.
This project reflects my out-of-the-box thinking and belief that immersive storytelling and meaningful engagement doesn’t require complexity—only intention.
